Hi, I’m Krystle, but you can call me Kriss.
I create fabulously iconic brands complete with a powerhouse online presence for awe-inspiring women.
To put it simply, I make websites that showcase the best YOU.
I’m a graphic designer equipped with the skills to help you pay the bills – and then go on a shopping spree.
Wanna build a jaw-dropping brand designed to open you up to more opportunities than you handle?
So do I. Let’s do this.
There are 3 things that I believe truly set me apart from every designer out there.
Years on Years on Years of experience.
I spent 6+ years as a senior graphic designer at REVOLVEclothing.com. I created promotions and marketing graphics for the world’s top tier brands like Marc by Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, Diesel, and more. At REVOLVE, I honed my skills in time-management, communication, and branding.
I believe in websites that sell, and it’s ALL about marketing.
I truly believe you can’t succeed in business without marketing so I got my Bachelor degree in Business and Economics specializing on the subject. I also continue to invest in my education learning from the best in the biz like Marie Forleo (Hey B-School Babes!) and David Siteman Garland. This means I know how to do more that just make a great looking site – we’re building marketing strategies into that bad boy. Plus, I’ll know exactly what you mean when you start to use terms like opt-in, affiliates, and evergreen.
Email is great, and the phone is even better.
Communication is everything. Not only in learning about your business goals, but also in making sure you always know where we are in a project. When you sign up to work with me you receive a special login to my project management system. Through this, we’ll have a project calendar so you will always know when to expect deliverables from me and where we are in the project as far as timeline. I’m a fan of phone conversations to keep meetings short with more time for productivity.

Here’s my story
I’m one of the biggest nerds you will ever meet, seriously. I was 14, bored over winter break, when I decided I wanted to learn how to create really pretty websites. They didn’t seem too difficult so hopped to it and I downloaded Photoshop (took 3 days on dial-up and my family lost all phone privileges –totally worth it.) I figured out everything I needed to know by experimenting and spending my days at Barnes and Noble. I created a few sites and wrote countless cringe-worthy teenage blog posts.
I also tried to build an online interactive closet like Cher’s in Clueless. Now, that was a toughie.
The nerd alert meter went through the roof when I created and managed my high school’s first student body website. I spent a few sleepless nights to make sure there was a working portal to request songs to be played at lunch. But I was also a cheerleader, so ya know, whatever.
At 18, I got my first paid gig for freelance design work. That’s when it hit me. More than anything, I loved the business of design.
I loved each entreprenuer’s story and passion. I wanted customers to hear it too.
I wanted to create sites where a customer actually gets a feel for the business.
This gave me my first glimpse into the wonderful world of branding. I knew then that my college degree would be in Marketing and not design.
I loved school, but I couldn’t wait to get out there and make a name for myself. At every receptionist/accounting/sales/manager job I got, I’d give suggestions on a new marketing strategy or email campaign. When the owner mentioned a local promotion opportunity I’d jump and ask if I could create the flyer. I wanted to be a graphic designer but I never thought a actual company would hire me without a degree or past experience.
Then my career counseling class changed everything. I was given the assignment to interview someone who had my dream job. I wanted to interview the graphic designer at REVOLVEclothing.com but when I showed up for our appointment I found out he had called out sick. Instead, the founder of the company offered to be interviewed. After the interview was over I had the most intense feeling that job would soon be mine. I knew it and I trusted God would make it happen.
A week later, I was hired and I had my dream job at that super cool start-up with even cooler designer brands, also known as Revolveclothing.com. That job taught me more than I ever could have imagined and I’m so grateful for my experience there.
Entrepreneurship was always the end goal, and 6 years later I took the plunge to work solely on my branding and design studio sending me on a entrepreneurial journey I waited my whole life for.
That’s where I am today, and I couldn’t be happier.
