Face Did!

I’m usually on the fence when it comes to whether or not I should get my makeup done professionally for an event. Usually, the answer is no. It’s sucha gamble. I’ve had a couple times where I’m absolutely in love with the finished look but sooo many times where I end up with my face looking so left field of what I requested! I find it easier to just do it myself!

Well I knew I would be happy with the results from Team PROliphic Beauty. You can tell that Melissa Hibbert knows her stuff (just take a look at her–she’s beyond gorgeous!) and I knew I would be in good hands.

Melissa hooked up my girl, Ferris while Rose worked alongside her to give me a look that was perfect for the Makeup & Martinis event, my boyfriend’s comedy show after and a good friend’s holiday party later that night! Yes, this look had to hold up for hourrrssss and it surely did!

Rose gave me a deep smokey eye with a pinky-nude lip and it was PERFECTION. She made sure I was happy and that was so, so appreciated! She’s wonderful to work with!

Kriss ‘Fits Tuesdays! You better werk.

Me and my cuzzo!

Last week I had the amazing pleasure of attending the RuPaul’s Drag Race premiere party at the Abbey in West Hollywood. My cousin, Davide Laffe is an awesome photographer for New York-based magazines (including Get Out! Magazine) so I was there with him in the press line live instagramming and taking it all in. And it was alllll sickennnnnnnning, hunty.




When planning for my outfit for night, I didn’t know whether to go all drag out or remain my little lady self. Let’s be real, I knew I couldn’t compete so I opted for a really fun super casual (ahem comfy) outfit with pants! The club was filled with the who’s who of the drag world including Rupaul and the all star drag queens who later performed on stage. We sat around drinking and watching the first episode of All Stars. It was so fun to watch it in that room.. I think Davide put it best when he leaned over to me and whispered “It’s like watching the Super Bowl of the gays.” Yup, and I loved every minute of it!

Kriss ‘Fits Tuesdays! Several Chainz.

I’ve had this skirt for about 3 years now.. still love the peek a boo zipper detail on the bootay!


I think stand up comedy is one of the most difficult careers you could ever pursue and I have tons of respect for those who even try, much less succeed. So when I first found out the manfriend, Gavin Yates was interested, signed up for classes, and started doing open mics regularly I was blown away.

Then the day came. A large bunch of my favorite people came out to witness one of the greatest things I have ever seen – my manfriend doing stand up comedy in a packed comedy club in Hollywood. I don’t know who was more nervous, me or him, but he KILLED it! Super proud. Check out a little preview below and if you’re in Hollywood on 10/26 come see him kill it again at The Comedy Store – Main Room whoo!

Check out what I wore for his big night! Head to toe Forever 21, that store has definitely exceeded my 17 year old expectations. The pumps were super comfy and the quality is pretty impressive.
